Amazing proverb: First, Man makes habits and then habits makes a man.
The "wee hours" or so called, the productive hours starts early morning and if you could inculcate this habit, believe me, it will keep you calm and rejuvenate throughout the day.
It's easier said than done but if you just kick that blanket out for a few fraction of seconds and get out of bed afterwards; you will find several benefits, lets' discuss it one by one:
- The Productive (wee) hours:
Firstly, there is no disturbance. For e.g., no favorite TV shows, nobody text/mail you at 5 am, no surprise guests visits; it's the time when the world sleeps but our mind awakens which in turns increases productivity. Perfect time to accomplish the tasks that you want to focus on; whether it's personal or official.
- Motivated to get some time for your body (Cardio, yoga, gym etc)
Let your heart and adrenaline pumps during the early morning hours which minimalize your blood pressure and improve your blood circulation and also keep you fit and strong (internally and externally)
- Creative hours perfect for creative habits
Any special creative habit you want to put on, like drawing, book writing, blogging, making your TDL (to-do-list) or drawing your vision board; not only then this is the perfect time to do; also you will get confidence to finish the desired tasks within the allotted time period and you even don't have to sacrifice with your other tasks. Sounds great...huh..??
- Money matters Most (Money never sleeps but we do)
whomsoever looking for that extra bucks to fulfill all the unfulfilled needs, nobody is there to stop you, except 'YOURSELF', period. In contradiction to the above point, if you start book writing, blogging or whatever for the matter; somewhere down the line; you will be reaping the benefits of the same.
- Not sacrificing sleep
If you have to wake up early, it means you have to sleep early which in-turns helps you manage time and your tasks effectively and in a perfect order and you don't have to sacrifice your sleep in-fact you are the sleeping for the same number of hours, you were sleeping earlier.
- You'll actually get proper breakfast & always reach office on-time
Health is wealth and by waking up at 5am, you can have both and even don't have to sacrifice your family promises or your own dreams and desires. A health morning breakfast is quintessential for a healthy immune system and reaching office within the time, keeping your boss happy too.
"Million dollar question: How to wake up early??"
Solution: Our usual routine is to stay awake late night till 12 or 1 even, so you just have to break the rule. Instead of waking up late in that process, keep your alarm of 5:00 am and soon after getting up from your bed, take your healthy breakfast. Follow this for 21 days and you'll find that your body will be accustomed to start sleeping early.
At the end, the decision is yours, there's only one life all of us have: You want to stay rooted to your laziness or get up and start converting your dreams into reality.
